Passing of Margaret K. SHENK, wife of former FITA Council Member
Lausanne – 16 February 2011
World Archery was informed of the passing of Mrs Margaret K. SHENK, 99 years old, on 7 February 2011. She was the wife of Clayton B. SHENK (deceased in 2000), who was one of the leaders of the National Archery Association (USA) for many years and was on FITA Council for many years as well.
Mrs SHENK had spent many years as an administrative assistant for the U.S. Olympic Archery team. She, along with her late husband, had traveled extensively around the world with their involvement with archery.
We send our sincere condolences to her family and to all her friends.
