Archery GB Indoor Extravaganza

The Junior GB National Indoor Championship has proved so popular, that the start time has been moved forward to 9am on Saturday morning, with an invitational Back2Back tournament getting underway half an hour later.   Sunday’s GB Senior National Indoor Championship gets underway at 8.30am - the start brought forward an hour due to the demand for places.   “We’ve had a fantastic response, and it’s going to be a fantastic weekend,” said Jon. “We now have 900 archers coming along over two days, and by my reckoning, it makes our event one of the top three in the world, which is a terrific achievement by the archers.    “It’s a great chance for newcomers to the sport to come along and see a top class event in full swing, and with it being archery, there’ll be a great atmosphere, and everyone involved will be happy to chat, advise and encourage.   “For the juniors, it will be another great chance for them to shoot alongside some of our top internationals and one or two Olympic archers.
