Korea upset USA in Shanghai compound mixed team final

“Every arrow had to be perfect,” said Erika JONES, who was shooting with USA partner Bridger DEATON for the first time.
They were just that, perfect, in the first end. But the highest-scoring archer in the match was shooting for the other team – and it made the difference. With seven 10s out of eight, MIN Lihong drove Korea ahead when it mattered.
Compound men’s world number one Pierre-Julien DELOCHE and Sophie DODEMONT – the Olympic medallist who’s become compound indoor world champion – won bronze over India.
It was good practice for DELOCHE and DEATON, who contest individual medals later in the day.
