Preview: Indoor World Series in full swing as archers line up in Strassen
The GT Open returns this weekend for its 11th edition in Strassen, Luxembourg. As the second stop on this year’s mass-participation Indoor Archery World Series, the event has drawn an impressive field of more than 450 archers from 35 countries.
This year marks the sixth time that the GT Open has been included as an official event on the prestigious international circuit.
Among those looking for points and podiums are two the four winners from the season opener, the Swiss Open in Lausanne, held just a fortnight ago. Ajay Scott of Great Britain and Francesca Aloisi of Italy will both take to the shooting line at the Guillaume Tell Archery Club.
Other top international archers in attendance include Ella Gibson, Casey Kaufhold, James Lutz, Elia Canales, Amanda Mlinaric, Elisa Roner, Nicolas Girard, Michelle Kroppen, Stephan Hansen, Mathias Fullerton, and Mike and Gaby Schloesser.
