London 2012 is now recruiting for paid roles during the Games. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to use your sport related skills and experience to help the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) put on the greatest show on earth in summer 2012.
LOCOG will recruit skilled applicants from across the UK—from a range of communities and backgrounds. The recruitment process will be transparent, open and fair, and LOCOG's goal is to select applicants who meet their criteria and who will bring passion, enthusiasm and energy to the Games.
Roles in Archery
Opportunities available in the London Archery team will include:
Field of Play Group Leader – responsibilities include:
Ø Ensuring that the field of play is correctly set up, and that access to, flows around, and maintenance of the field of play are conducted in accordance with LOCOG and the International Archery Federation (FITA) rules and regulations.
Athlete Services Group Leader – responsibilities include:
Ø Providing a high quality experience for all Olympic and Paralympic athletes and teams at the competition venue.
Technical Officials Services Group Leader – responsibilities include:
Ø Ensuring that technical officials' work areas and lounges are maintained to a high standard, and responding to officials' queries punctually and positively.

Those selected at CV stage will be invited to attend a recruitment selection day as a first stage of the interview process.
If selected, applicants will be offered a specific role based on their skills, experience and suitability.

Roles will start from spring 2012 although some applicants may be required to work at the London 2012 Archery test event (London Archery Classic 2011) at Lord's Cricket Ground from 30 September to 10 October 2011.
