Ulsan ready to host the world

 The FITA Secretary General Tom DIELEN conducted a last inspection visit to Korea. We are now only three weeks away from the World Archery Championships Ulsan 2009 and the city is ready. The town is already decorated with flags and the team flags are waiting for the delegations to arrive in the stadium.   The Korean Archery Association and Ulsan City authorities have done a great job in preparing the event and the field has been expanded since the last World Cup. The Organising Committee has literally dug into the nearby mountain to extend the field! The finals of these world championships will take place in the middle of Munsu International Archery Centre with a special setup.   MBC Korea is the host broadcaster and for the first time in FITA history world archery Championships will be produced in High Definition for television. The event will take place from 1-9 September 2009. The FITA Congress will precede on 30-31 August.   FITA Communication
