World Championships 2011 go to Turin

The FITA Council has awarded today the World Championships 2011 to Turin (ITA). The Italian city was a candidate together with Paris (FRA) and both bids submitted excellent candidatures.   The Field World Championships 2010 has been awarded to Visegrad in Hungary. 

The FITA Council gathers for its year-end meeting in Lausanne this weekend. A final report on important decisions will be communicated on Monday.
