28 October 2010 - COPARCO becomes World Archery Americas

COPARCO becomes World Archery Americas Lausanne – 28 October 2010   At its annual Congress on 18 October 2010 COPARCO accepted to change name to "World Archery Americas". This is the first FITA Continental Association to take this step forward.   Mr Ernesto DIAZ BAZAN (ESA) was re-elected as President, while Mr Carlos HERMES (GUA) was elected as Treasurer and Ms Maria Emma GAVIRA (COL) re-elected as Vice President for South America. Mr Sergio FONT (CUB) was re-elected as Council Member as well as Julio PARRA (CHI).   The next Congress of World Archery Americas will be held in Madrid, Spain in June 2011.   World Archery Communication
