World Archery Event Organisers Seminar Lausanne – 14 February 2010   Following the tremendous success of the World Archery Event Organisers Seminar 2010, FITA is very proud to send its sincere congratulations to the delegates who have successfully achieved certification.   Those people who achieved certification are:   Aurelian Florin BACINSCHI (ROM) Jon NOTT (GBR) Jozef BASCIUK (POL) Igor ORLIC (CRO) Jay BEN-ARI (ISR) Evelyn PAPADOPOULOU (GRE) DONG Wenjin (CHN) Janice J. Delegates studied, through interactive workshops, a range of topics specifically chosen to improve delegates' knowledge and skills for the bidding, financing, planning and delivery of a World Class Event.   FITA Secretary General, Tom DIELEN said of the Seminars: "World Archery is constantly looking to improve the standard of its events around the World. These workshops offer a fantastic opportunity for our Event Organisers to learn new skills and understand what we mean by 'best practise'. This is achieved in an environment where they can openly discuss and share ideas with colleagues from other parts of the globe."   In future it is likely that to be able to qualify as an Event Technical Delegate (TD) one will need to have achieved Event Organisers certification.   World Archery will be announcing details very soon of the Seminar dates and venues for 2011. The first will be in August in Ogden, USA on the occasion of the World Cup Stage 3 and the second in early September in Shanghai, China (World Cup Stage 4). The Invitation Package will be published on www.worldarchery.org later this month.    World Archery Communication
