Mersin (TUR) to organise 2013 Mediterranean Games Lausanne – 28 February 2011   The city of Mersin in Turkey has been chosen by the International Committee the Mediterranean Games (CIJM) to replace Volos for the organisation of the Mediterranean Games in June 2013.   After the decision in January 2011 to withdraw from the city of Volos (GRE) the organisation of the 2013 Mediterranean Games, the CIJM was studying an alternative solution to choose a new city. They are pleased to inform that at the end of the first round of voting, the city of Mersin (TUR) was elected and will organise the Meditteranean Games from 20-30 June 2013.   Source: CIJM Edited by World Archery Communication
