17 March 2011 - International competition in Israel

International competition in Israel Rishon Le-Zion (ISR) – 17 March 2011  The Rishon Le-Zion Archery Club in Israel is organising an international competition on 2-4 June 2011, called the 5th International Rishon Le-Zion Archery Cup. This tournament will be held for the first time as a full FITA Round.   The 5th International Rishon Le-Zion Archery Cup competition is a main event for all archery clubs in Israel and this year the organisers hope for a large participation of archers from international clubs as well.   As the rules are about to change soon, this may be one of the last chances for compound archers to compete in all four distances in a full FITA round. There will be a full FITA Round for both recurve and compound archers as the qualification round. The Set System will then be used for the finals at 70 metres. There will also be a special round at 30 and 50 metres for children.   The Rishon Le-Zion Archery Cup is organised by the Rishon Le-Zion Archery Club and is sponsored by the Israeli Archery Union and the municipality of Rishon Le-Zion, the fourth largest city in Israel.   There will be no registration fee, and transportation from the airport to the hotel and to the venue will be free of charge. The complete invitation and all details can be found at http://www.kashatim.com/site/index.asp?depart_id=148359&lat=en.   The Rishon Le-Zion Archery Club Edited by World Archery Communication
