Passing away of Lithuanian Archery Federation's President

The Lithuanian Archery Federation has informed FITA/World Archery of the passing away of their President Mr Stanislavas SURUTKOVICIUS, aged 42 years old.
Stanislavas SURUTKOVICIUS was not only a leader of the Lithuanian Archery Federation, a friend and colleague of their members, but a very good archer as well. He was a member of the national archery team, national records holder, and champion of the Baltic States.
He had planned to attend in World Archery Championships 2011 in Turin in July. He believed it to be an opportunity for Lithuania Archery to gain a chance to take part in the Olympic Games for the first time.
FITA/World Archery sends their sincere condolences to the Lithuanian Archery Federation, to Mr SURUTKOVICIUS's family and friends and to the whole Lithuanian archery community.
