25 August 2011 - Asian Archery Championships and Asian Olympic Continental Qualification Tournament

Asian Archery Championships and Asian Olympic Continental Qualification Tournament Tehran (IRI) – 25 August 2011   The 17th Asian Archery Championships and Asian Olympic Continental Qualification Tournament will be held in Tehran, Iran from 18-24 October 2011. The Iran Archery Federation invites all archers to participate in this event.   So far 203 participants from 18 countries (Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Japan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mongolia, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, Tajikistan and Iraq) have registered to compete in this event.   As the deadline for final entries has not passed yet and this is an important event as qualifier for the Olympic Games 2012 London, the Organising Committee (OC) reminds those countries who have not registered yet that the deadline is 18 September 2011.   The necessary documents for registration and booking should be sent back within the stated deadlines.   Hossein NASIRINEJAD OC Secretary General
