Nine new accredited International Classifier Candidates Lausanne – 29 August 2011    In order to increase the number of International Classifiers, World Archery has organised a seminar which was held in Hotel Rivoli in the neighbourhood of Turin from 8-9 July 2011, just before the World Archery Para Championships. This has been a very successful seminar, since nine new International Classifier Candidates have been accredited.   The seminar welcomed 10 participants from Europe, Asia and Middle East. The conductor was the World Archery International Classifier ad-hoc Committee chairwoman Mrs Pauline BETTERIDGE, who was assisted by members of the Classification Committee.   At the end of the seminar, the attendees took part in a practical and written assessment. World Archery is proud to welcome the following new International Classifier Candidates: Smiljana GECEK (CRO), Niels Erasmus KRAHN (GER), Andreas HEGMAN (GER), David MEIWORM (GER), Lars MEIWORM (GER), Chiara BARBI (ITA), Clare DOYLE (GBR), Cheng Hao TSENG (TPE) and Mohammadreza RASHIDI (IRI).   Furthermore, to help Greece in their aim to develop Para-Archery, Maria MATIATOU attended the seminar to learn about classification and to help in the progress in Greece by classifying their athletes.   World Archery Communication
