Aida ROMAN (MEX) is the Athlete of the Month for March Lausanne – 11 April 2012  After Sergio PAGNI (ITA) in January and Romain GIROUILLE (FRA) in February, the Athlete of the Month of March chosen by the Archery fans via Facebook is the Mexican Olympian Aida ROMAN.   Aida ROMAN was voted the Athlete of the Month for March by Archery fans worldwide via a poll on the World Archery Facebook Page. The Mexican archer, who placed 13th at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, won the bronze medal in late March at the Arizona Cup. She will have two opportunities to win an Olympic quota place for London 2012, at the Continental Qualifying Tournament in Medellin, Colombia later this month April or at the Ogden World Cup in June.
  The Athlete of the month of February was the 23-year-old Romain GIROUILLE (FRA), who successfully defended his individual title at the Asian Grand Prix in Bangkok and also led his team to the gold. In January, the Athlete of the Month was Sergio PAGNI (ITA), winner of the 2011/2012 Indoor World Cup stage 2 in Nimes. Both GIROUILLE and PAGNI are in Shanghai this week, competing at the 2012 World Cup stage 1.
