The USA are better than us but today we beat them in the 1/8 elimination round and we are very happy!   Brady ELLISON (USA) We shot two good ends and then both of us stopped shooting 10s. We just came from our second Olympic Trials that lasted 7 days and are the most important tournament of the year. We got on the plane and arrived in Turkey just in time for the official practice. We put a lot of effort and mental energy into the trials and are all exhausted. We will do better in Ogden, where our girls will try to get Olympic spots.   LEE Sung Jin (KOR) – Gold Medal Final The competition is really starting now. I need to focus more. I qualified for three gold medal matches: team, mixed team and individual (smile). I don’t know why everything is going so well and I’m so comfortable shooting in this competition!   IM Dong-Hyun (KOR) – Gold Medal Final I was feeling well. I trust LEE Sung Jin, she is a very good partner.   Alejandra VALENCIA & Luis Eduardo VELEZ  (MEX) – Bronze Medal We were very nervous shooting the bronze medal final and felt like our chests would explode from our heartbeats! The last end was very exiciting. We love archery because you cannot give up until the last arrow has been shot.   Compound   Reo WILDE (USA) – Gold Medal Final I just shot one 9 in the first round of the mixed team eliminations and then only 10s. It’s good to break the world record, it’s the only one that I didn’t have to my name, because I have broken almost all team and individual world records. It’s been a good day for me. I’m going to be in all three gold medal finals, just as I had in Shanghai. Only this time I’m hoping to win three gold medals instead of two golds and one silver!   Duncan BUSBY (GBR) – Bronze Medal I thought that we could easily end up with a medal. It went really well for us, it’s hard to shoot against the US who broke the world record in semifinals. It’s impossible to beat that, so the bronze medal is a good consolation after that. It’s the 3rd World Cup medal for Andrea, as for me I don’t remember how many I already have!   World Archery Communication
