Australia's Head Coach James PARK studies behaviour of arrows

Archery Australia is pleased to advise that James PARK, the Archery Australia Head Coach, has been awarded a PhD in Mechanical Engineering by Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. His PhD work was dedicated to arrow dynamics.
His study covered the behaviour of arrows during the bow’s power stroke and in free flight. He placed particular emphasis on compound bows, but much of the work is also directly applicable to recurve bows.
