Impressive participation in Ogden
Ogden
After hosting the Youth World Championships in 2009, Ogden is now organising its third World Cup stage. This event, which is also the final Olympic qualifier, has attracted a spectacular participation. In fact the number of athletes, 383, and countries, 66, ranked both second in the World Cup history. In 2008, as the final Olympic qualifier for the Beijing Games, the French city of Boe hosted 70 delegations (361 archers). Last month, the Antalya World Cup Stage 2 welcomed 388 athletes (from 52 countries).
Throughout the World Cup history, some other stages have also attracted impressive numbers such as:
Ø 322 athletes and 43 countries at the very first World Cup Stage in Porec, Croatia in 2006
Ø 330 athletes and 45 countries in Antalya 2006
Ø 375 athletes and 50 countries in Antalya 2011
