US Olympic Committee video honouring Jim EASTON
Lausanne
With Jacob WUKIE and Brady ELLISON, members of the Olympic silver medal team
The video of the presentation put together honouring Jim EASTON as well as his son's acceptance of the award on his behalf is available at https://vimeo.com/45839497. The entire ceremony was broadcast on NBC Sports Network on Thursday evening, 23 August. "This award honours an individual who best represents the international ideals of the Olympic Movement by working to build a peaceful and better world through sport. It was a privilege to be a part of this recognition of my dad's tireless efforts to safeguard archery and to promote sport at an Olympic level," said Greg EASTON. "While Jim's health did not allow him to attend the USOC ceremony in July, he was able to travel to London for the Olympics. He was thrilled to be able to watch the US men’s archery team win the silver medal, and to interact with the Olympic athletes at yet another fantastic archery event," he added.
