The fan favourites are Aida ROMAN, Oscar DE PELLEGRIN and Alan EAGLETON

The World Archery Facebook page held three polls to elect the favourite athletes of the Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games and the World Archery Field Championships. World Archery nominated 10 athletes per poll.
The Olympic silver medallist from Mexico Aida ROMAN totalled 38% of the votes, ahead of the double gold medallist from Korea KI Bo Bae (22%) and the team Olympic champion from Italy Michele FRANGILLI (20%).
In the Paralympic category, the winner is the men’s gold medallist and six-time Paralympian Oscar DE PELLEGRIN of Italy, who received 41.5% of the votes. The compound open champion from the host country Danielle BROWN came in second with 27%.
Finally, in field archery the team gold medallist and individual silver medallist Alan EAGLETON sumed up 33% of the votes. Second was the recurve gold medallist from the host country Jean-Charles VALLADONT (26%). Completing the top 3 was Elena RICHTER, the new recurve women champion from Germany.
The next poll will take place on our Facebook page during the first week of October to elect the Athlete of the Month.
