World Archery Judges' Committee annual meeting in Wiesbaden, Germany

      
The Chairman Morten B. WILMANN met together with Committee Members Dion BUHAGIAR and Sergio FONT and Séverine DERIAZ from World Archery.
  
During the meeting the committee decided on the judge appointments for 2013, a difficult puzzle where the judges’ applications must be combined with the various considerations like; who will chair the commissions, mix of gender, mix of IJ and IJC, only one judge from each MA and other specifications.
   
In addition the committee upgraded 6 candidates to full IJ status, The new World Archery International Judges are:
 
Ahmed KOURA (EGY), Andjelko PRASKALO (CRO), Vladimir SINCEK (CRO), Lorraine Van Der WESTHUIZEN (RSA), Ahmed ROUSHDY (EGY) and Ranjan BHOWMIK (IND).
  
They also discussed various procedures in judging, completed the updating of the Judge Guidebook and the various presentations to be used at the next days seminar among other subjects.
  
Mr. Yip-Kay TANG from Singapore was awarded the honorific title Honorary Judge upon his retirement after many years of judging for World Archery.
