Athlete of the Year 2012: Final poll

Who will succeed Brady ELLISON?
World Archery launched a Facebook poll in December giving archery fans the chance to vote for their favourite athlete of the year among a shortlist of 40 archers across all four categories. The 40 archers were divided between four polls that closed on 15 January. The contest saw a tight race following a series of outstanding performance at last year’s major competitions.      The four winners are Mariana AVITIA (MEX), Elias MALAVE (VEN), Matt STUTZMAN (USA) and Reo WILDE (USA).      Last year, the public selected the American recurve ace Brady ELLISON, who was ranked No 1 in the world and won three consecutive World Cup stages (Porec, Antalya and Ogden) as well as the World Cup Final in 2011.        Everyone is welcome to place their votes on our Facebook page. The final poll featuring the four winners will be held until 27 January at midnight GMT (Saturday night).
