World Masters Games: already 17 countries registered
The World Masters Games will be held in the historical city of Turin in Northern Italy. Registrations are open until 2 June and so far, 112 archers have registered, with an expectation of more than 200. The only participation requirement is being a registered archer of at least 30 years old.
Recurve and compound will be featured both in Archery and Para-Archery from 5 to 9 August. Practice will be on 5 August, Qualification round on 6-7, and Finals on 8-9 August.
Recurve age categories
30+, 40+: distance 70m
50+, 60+, 70+: distance 60m
Compound age categories
All ages: distance 50m
The venue will be the Stadio Olimpico (photo), home stadium of the Italian Serie A team Torino FC.
The World Masters Games are a good occasion to shoot archery, enjoy the cultural offer of Turin – its kilometres of arcades, its churches, Baroque palaces, royal residences and museums – and its renowned gastronomic tradition.
