The tightest match came with BJERENDAL (photo) and LIN. The Swedish athlete needed a shoot-off to overcome her opponent. There were no major surprises, except that KIM clearly beat GALIAZZO, and VERMA took the first point for Asia after beating BOZLAR in the opening match.
