Romanian Archery Federation OS DNSS Programme 2013-2015
The aim of the project is to review and improve the national structure of the federation with the different stakeholders such as; athletes, coaches, judges, members, clubs, etc. Coach SUK Dong-Euk’s first mission is foreseen in July 2013 and will conduct several missions until August 2015.
The main tasks of Coach SUK are technical seminars for coaches, review the cadet and junior national teams training programme, implement a proper national training plan, assist the national teams in their preparation for major competitions and future Olympic Games, workshops for the executive members of the federation and clubs, organisation of training camps, review the judging system and much more.
The programme will cover all the archery clubs of Romania in order to put in place a unique programme to unify the methodology throughout the archery family in the country and to identify the future talents of tomorrow. Coach SUK will also accompany and assist the national archery teams at major competitions and Olympic Qualifying events. Furthermore, the outcome of this project is to have elite teams participating at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games and 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
