WA Coaches Committee meets after a successful seminar

Committee Member LEE Kisik was unable to travel to Brazil; hence the following people attended the meeting: Ken BEARMAN (Chairman), KIM Hyung Tak (Member), Pascal COLMAIRE (WA Development and Education Director who is also Ex-officio Member) and Deqa NIAMKEY (WA Development and Education Senior Coordinator).

This constructive meeting was run with a friendly and passionate contribution from the participants who brought a lot of thoughts and ideas into the discussion. After sharing a long range vision of coaching in archery, and in front of all the projects and tasks to be conducted, the participants came to the conclusion that two members should be added to the current committee of only three elected people.

Meanwhile a hypothetic increase in the number of members for the WA Coaches Committee, a call to volunteers will be made for the implementation of some projects, such as: the refinement of the table of contents for a level 3 coaching manual (content drafted during the WACS and the meeting), the development of an E-coaching library in 2015, etc.

Among the other projects there is the refinement of the current set of documents to conduct a coaching course (3 levels).

The meeting closed after nine hours, and the participants left with a lot of work ahead to better serve the archery coaches worldwide.
