Record-participation Italian Indoor Championships live broadcast confirmed

Rimini, the well-known tourist city and birthplace of the great film director Federico FELLINI, will host the Italian Indoor Championships on 1-2 February 2014. Around 900 archers will shoot on the record 119-target shooting line in barebow, compound and recurve divisions.

The whole event will be live broadcast on YouArco, the Italian archery federation’s YouTube channel, and Rai Sport 1 TV will show a highlights programme following the event. See the full broadcast schedule, link to Saturday’s stream and Sunday’s stream.

Registered athletes include 2012 Olympic Champion recurve men’s team members Marco GALIAZZO (photo) and Michele FRANGILLI, while Mauro NESPOLI and Natalia VALEEVA will attend but not compete. Other names to watch include Paralympian Elisabetta MIJNO, Pia LIONETTI, Claudia MANDIA and Jessica TOMASI.

Two-time compound mixed-team world champions Sergio PAGNI and Marcella TONIOLI, who retained their title in Belek, will compete, as will Giuseppe SEIMANDI – 2013 World Games champion – and European Field Archery Champion Eleonora STROBBE.
