Deepika KUMARI most popular archer? Follow our stars with Olympic Athletes’ Hub

At the age of 16, Deepika KUMARI became Commonwealth Games Champion on home soil in 2010. She was already recurve cadet world champion and was fresh off her first Archery World Cup Final appearance.

KUMARI has not missed a World Cup Final since – and 2010 was her only non-medal finish. Through three highly-successful seasons, which have each culminated in a silver medal at the event, Deepika has maintained an active Facebook profile and amassed a huge fan following as a result.

To the nearly-quarter-of-a-million people who have liked the young Indian archer’s Facebook page, she is known for posting training updates, pictures from competitions and advice for anyone keen to follow in her footsteps.

With so much information on most people’s social media feeds these days, there is now a better place to access posts from your favourite athletes in archery and other Olympic sports. The Olympic Athletes’ Hub, which has been packaged in a neat little app for Android and Apple users, collates updates from the verified accounts of sports men and women on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in one place.

The app is great for following real-time photos from competitions and events, athletes are searchable by name, sport and nationality – and you can create a custom feed of your favourites, before sharing particularly inspiring posts on your own Facebook and Twitter.

The Olympic Athlete’s Hub is online and available free app, downloadable for Android devices from Google Play and from iTunes for Apple iPhones, iPads and iPods.
