Titanic struggle between Korea and India ends in dramatic shoot-off
“When I stepped up onto the line, I felt the pressure of the shot,” said OH Jin Hyek. “But I was confident. I thought we’d won the match the previous set, I thought my nine would be upgraded to a 10 – but I had confidence in myself.”
KU Bonchan and KIM Woojin nodded emphatically when asked if they had confidence in the Korean Olympic Champion. He delivered for the team, shooting a 10 with the final arrow of a shoot-off with India, which looked unlikely to happen two ends in.
Korea led 4-0 at that point in the match, but India shot excellently. The team scored 59 in both of the last two sets to claw four set points back – and force the draw.
