Nine units from all over the country participated in this championship with male and female teams, including the provinces of KPK, Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, FATA and Islamabad, plus three departmental team – Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Railways and Pakistan Police.
In the male team events, Police Team secured first position with 135 points, Islamabad stood second with 120 points whereas KPK finished third with 90 points. On the female side, Punjab took first position, KPK second and Pakistan Police third.
Mr Usman ANWAR, Director General of Punjab Sports Board, was invited as Chief Guest for the opening ceremony on 5 May, while the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony on 6 May was Lt. Gen. (R) Syed Arif HASAN, President of the Pakistan Archery Federation and Pakistan Olympic Association.
