Mrs Lola GNECCHI, wife of Honorary President Francesco GNECCHI RUSCONE, passes away

Lola and Francesco married in 1950, before he became involved with World Archery (then FITA) in 1961. His life companion, Lola was with Francesco during his leadership of the federation (1977-1989) and an active witness to the most important archery events of the last half-century.

All who knew her will miss her deeply, and remember Lola for her likeableness, kindness and deeply human qualities. She will be remembered especially by her seven children and 11 grandchildren.

The World Archery President, the Executive Board and entire archery family send their sincere condolences to our Honorary President and his family. Our thoughts are with them at this sad time.

Mrs Lola GNECCHI’s funeral was held on Monday 21 July in Verderio Superiore.
