Spectator tickets to Copenhagen 2015 World Archery Championships on sale

The capital of Denmark will be the spectacular setting for yet another big sports event next year when the world’s best archers come to Copenhagen.

The first and second of August next year hosts the finals of the World Archery Championships in historic surroundings, right in front of the Danish Parliament at Christiansborg Slotsplads.

As is standard at international World Archery events, compound finals are to run on Saturday and recurve on Sunday.

Each of the two finals days is divided into a morning session and an afternoon session, likely with team medal matches in the mornings and mixed team and individual title contests in the afternoons.

Spectator tickets to each session cost around 10 Euros or 15 USD plus service charges. Full weekend tickets are priced at approximately 30 Euros or 40 USD plus service charges.

Competition at the Copenhagen 2015 World Archery Championships begins on 26 July at Sundby Idrætspark. Entry at this venue is free of charge until 31 July 2015.

These preliminary rounds are also the first chance for nations to win quota places to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
