Advanced Judges Course held in Dubai while nation applies for affiliation
The seminar was held from 22 to 26 December 2014 in cooperation with the Leader's Qualification Centre in Dubai.
International Judge and course instructor Dr Ahmed KOURA from Egypt was happy with the high number of participants coming from eight different countries (Comoros Islands, Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco, Pakistan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen).
Among 52 participants, 36 have successfully passed the course test. “This group of judges has received sufficient knowledge about judging procedures on the international level with practical application,” Ahmed KOURA said.
This country has submitted a membership application file conformed to World Archery rules. Member associations and Board members have 60 days to raise in writing any objection to this request of membership.
Without any serious objection until 1 March 2015, a temporary membership will be granted to the United Arab Emirates Archery Association until the 2015 Congress where the final membership of this national archery association will be submitted to a vote.
