Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Qualification Calendar Update

The Road to Rio starts this summer.

In August, the World Archery Championships and World Archery Para Championships act as principle qualifying tournaments and mark the beginning of the qualification period – in which archers must obtain the minimum standard to compete at a Games.

Quota tournaments will be held up until June 2016, just before entries for Rio 2016 must be finalised.

World Archery is currently accepting host applications for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games Final Qualifying Tournament, due to be held in May or June 2016.
