Redesigned Olympic Athletes' Hub now live

As part of an Olympic Agenda 2020 recommendation to “Strengthen Support to Athletes”, the International Olympic Committee has developed the Olympic Athletes’ Hub.

The Hub is an online one-stop-shop online platform exclusively for elite athletes and Olympians with everything they need to know to prepare for the Olympic Games, career transition and job opportunities, or health and training tips, and much more.

It also creates an online community enabling athletes to share experience and ideas.

Special focus is placed on critical issues, such as the protection of clean athletes from all sorts of manipulation, the health of athletes and how to avoid injuries and illnesses, the prevention of harassment and abuse in sport.

“Strengthening the role of the athletes is one of the top priorities of the IOC as emphasised in Olympic Agenda 2020. The Athletes’ Hub helps us improve support for the athletes and communication between them. I wish such an opportunity had been there when I was an athlete,” said IOC President Thomas Bach.

The new Olympic Athletes’ Hub will continue to showcase the best social media content being created by Olympians around the world. Olympians joining the Hub are invited to feature their public social media profiles, alongside the 6,000 already there.

Dr Bach: “We are very excited to present to you the new Olympic Athletes' Hub. Plenty of information and tools to help you during and after your career. Sign up today!”

Athletes who sign up to the Hub can access content tailored to them, including special offers from Olympic Partners and other Olympic Movement stakeholders.

The web-based platform is also available for download as a mobile application for Android and iOS.
