Quite some changes on the 2nd day of competition
Compound Men
Clint Freeman (AUS) makes a great comeback in the compound men by being the only one to shoot perfect on the marked round. Yesterday he was out of the cut at 18th place but today’s 360 put him in 4th place. Morgan Lundin (SWE) keeps the lead after shooting 358 and is closely followed by Niels Baldur (DEN) and Dave Cousins (USA). Dave making a very costly mistake of shooting 1 point only on one arrow is still amazing everyone with his borrowed bow. Only the top 16 advance to the next round and the score of the 16th archer is 710 points which is 9 points higher than in Plitvice (Croatia).

Compound Women
Francoise Volle (FRA) and Jamie Van Natta (USA) still maintain their top 2 positions after both shooting 353 on the marked course. Third place is now for local favourite Ingrid Olofsson (SWE) who shot the highest score in the women with 354 points. The cut-off for 16th place is 687 points.
Recurve Men
Michele Frangilli (ITA) increased his lead to now an amazing 21 points. In 2nd still the defending World Champion from Germany, Stephan Rohrberg who is 5 points ahead of local legend Goran Bjerendahl (SWE) who is making a great comeback in Field Archery. Two other former World Champions Rick McKinney and Francis Notenboom missed the cut of 641 points.
Recurve Women
The two French ladies Sophie Dodemont and Laure Barczynski maintain their first two spots. The defending World Champion Jessica Tomasi from Italy fell back to 4th position and leaves the 3rd place to Naomi Folkard from Great Britain. The cut for the women is 548 taken by Aya la Brie (USA) who is normally shooting a Compound Bow.

His Teammate and defending champion Eric Jonsson is now in third place after shooting for him a disappointing 323 points. Italian Giuseppe Seimandi is now in 2nd place after shooting 328 points. The cut is at 599 points which is 34 points higher than at the previous World Championships showing the very high level of the event.
Barebow Women

Team Men
In the Team competition the host country Sweden has a 4 points lead on Italy. Third is Germany. The defending Champion Great Britain is only in 5th place but nothing has been said in this very tied competition.
Team Women
The French Team is well on its way to successfully defend their title after having accomplished a 40 points margin on the 2nd place Austrian team. Third is the host nation Sweden who has not said their last word.

The team competition will be held on Friday.
