Archery in World Games Executive Committee

FITA Secretary General Tom Dielen was elected during the General Assembly of the International World Games Association at Sport Accord.
The International World Games Association elected yesterday a new executive committee which will serve until 2010.
The new committee comprises: Ron Froehlich, president (gymnastics); Max Bishop, senior vice president (air sports) - new -; Sue Harvey, vice president (orienteering); Co Koren, secretary general (tug of war); Tom Dielen, member (archery) -new-; and Rinaldo Orlandi, member (ju-jitsu).
Bob de Die, the former senior vice president, and Roland Hilfiker, who stepped down from the committee, were appointed vice president for life and honorary member, respectively.
The World Games is the quadrennial multi-sports event featuring over 30 mainly non-Olympic sports and archery is represented with its Field discipline. Kaohsiung City – Chinese Taipei’s second largest metropolis behind the capital – will organize the next edition in 2009.
