Grand National Archery Society to appoint an Assistant Head Coach

Following the short listing of the candidates for the salaried coach positions the Performance Unit has reviewed it position and is now appointing one salaried coach from those short listed and is seeking an additional appoint under our Head Coach, Dong Eun (Peter) Suk, The Grand National Archery Society is seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Coach. This person will provide coaching, technical testing and development of Performance Unit regional coaching area’s and assist in the development programs under the direction of the Head Coach. Their role will include working with funded and non funded archers within the Performance Unit’s programs.

 

The person’s we are looking for will have experience in and a successful track record of working in a Performance environment, including working with athletes, coaches and sport science personnel to deliver amongst others, performance level coaching, technical reports and performance related reports and information as required. The post holder will have the ability to work under the H.C. with archers, volunteers and our partners to deliver high quality and effective programmes, leading to increased numbers of international level archers and consistent medal achievement at international events.

 

The person appointed will need to be an effective communicator, demonstrate a passion for excellence and a commitment to the GNAS aims of supporting elite archers to achieve world class success.
