Big Success for the Field Archery World Ranking 2006 Lausanne - 1 December 2006 Sweden is the big winner of the first FAWR year: 10 FAWR awards including 4 first places and a full sweep in the Men Senior Barebow competition and the Men Junior Compound competition complete a very successful year for the Swedish archers.   In total 2442 archers competed in 45 tournaments round the world for the FAWR prices starting the first of May in Italy and France and coming to a conclusion in Australia in Bathurst.The competition was very tight especially in the Compound division.   The Women Compound division only shows 0.02 difference in favour of Heike Erhlich / GER (349.80) over the new 2006 World Champion Silke Höttecke/GER (349.78).
