Grand National Archery Society to appoint a Salaried Coach (Dev 2012 and junior Squads) Lilleshall – 08 February 2007   Following the setting up a new Performance Unit under our Head Coach, Dong Eun (Peter) Suk, The Grand National Archery Society is seeking to appoint an additional Salaried Coach. This person will assist the Head coach in provide coaching, technical testing and development of juniors under the direction of the Head Coach. Their main role will be working with funded and non funded archers within the Performance Unit’s Dev 2012 and Junior programs.   The person’s we are looking for will have experience in and a successful track record of working in a Performance environment, including working with junior athletes, coaches and sport science personnel to deliver amongst others, performance level coaching, technical reports and performance related reports and information as required. The post holder will have the ability to work under the H.C. to deliver the head coaches, high quality and effective programmes, leading to increased numbers of international level archers and consistent medal achievements at international events.   The person appointed will need to be an effective communicator, demonstrate a passion for excellence and a commitment to the GNAS aims of supporting elite archers to achieve world class success.   If you are interested in this position please apply for an information pack, to Barry Eley, Performance Manager, Grand National Archery Society, Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Nr Newport, Shropshire, TF10 9AT, England marked ‘Private and Confidential’.
