World Champion Giuseppe Seimandi confirms status winning Arrowhead Tournament Lausanne - 22 May 2007   In a direct confrontation with the Swedish Barebow hot shots Mathias Larsson and Erik Jonsson, Giuseppe Unmarked Course (343) to finish first at the Arrowhead Tournament of Lago di Baratz, Italy. Larsson also put in a very good Marked Course (323) to secure second place with the same score as Erik Jonsson (third).   Besides good shooting in the Men Barebow other good scores were achieved in the Men Compound and Recurve divisions as well as in Women Recurve. These good results in Italy will shake up the Field Archery World Ranking.   The tournament in Lago di Baratz was attended by archers from Italy, France, Spain and Sweden showing an even growing interest in International Field Archery.   As a result of the April results the Field Archery World Ranking (FAWR) shows some major changes:   Ø       Giuseppe Seimandi (ITA) takes over the second place in Men Barebow Ø       Sergio Massimo Cassiani (ITA) takes the lead in Men Master Barebow Ø       Alessandro Biagi (ITA) and Thierry Malguid (FRA) are new on third and fourth places in Men Master Compound Ø       Francis Notenboom (BEL) on second place in Men Master Recurve Ø       Tiziana Crocioni (ITA) is new on third place in Women Master Compound and Martine Camus (FRA) is new on third place in Women Master Recurve Ø       Deonne Bridger (AUS) and Naomi Folkard (GBR) move up to second and third places in women Recurve   The first two months of the new FAWR season shook up the ranking considerably.
