Archery Coach for Army Sports Institute in Pune, India Pune - 7 June 2007   General: The Army Sports Institute located at Pune, India is training some of the best Archers in India. At least 8 archers are regularly shooting FITA scores in excess of 1300 and a minimum of 2 archers regularly feature in the Indian Archery Team including Tarundeep Rai and Harish Kerai who finished 11th and 8th respectively in the recently concluded World Cup at Antalya.   Requirements: The team has been coached by Mr. Chae Hong Gi from Korea since February 2003. Mr. Chae has now left us and we seek a suitable replacement. Some requirements and duties for prospective candidates are listed below:   1.      Should have a working knowledge of English. 2.      Should have coached a team shooting in the region of 1250 and brought them up to standards of around 1320. 3.      Should be able to guide Indian Coaches at the Institute. 4.      Should be able to handle 08 top archers (1300 and above) and 08 intermediate archers (1250-1300). 5.      Should make the training program for the team, to include all aspects of training. 6.      Should offer technical advices whenever called upon. 7.      To maintain and analyze data on National athletes, then develop programs to maximize performance. 8.      When required, to coach athletes at International level tournaments.   The coach would be hired on an extendable, annual contract and would be provided with all facilities including medical cover, accommodation and one month leave in a year.
