The International Archery Federation (FITA) continues to develop its TV coverage at Sportel.
Sportel Monaco - in October of each year - is the biggest trade show for all the key players in the world of television, new media or mobile TV. For its 18th edition in 2007, Sportel broke its participation record with 2,362 participants from 79 countries representing 975 companies and 177 stands.
With a full agenda over four day of meetings at its stand, FITA has reinforced its contacts with televisions worldwide. This will further extend the TV coverage of our 26-minute highlights. These highlights are a dynamic and efficient way to maximize the archery broadcasts worldwide.
FITA also promoted the live coverage that will take place for the World Cup Final in Dubai on November 24. The competition concept will be magnificent: the archers and the targets will stand on a platform in a lake of the Madinat Jumeirah hotel. Moreover the famous 7-star hotel, Burj Al Arab will be in the background. This made the news of the official Sportel Monaco magazine.
All the TV stations representatives that we met at Sportel were very satisfied with the quality of the archery images and will keep showing it in 2008. The interest was triggered for the live broadcast in Dubai. New contacts have also been made for 2008.
FITA nowadays send its 26-minute highlights to about 30 TV channels (including ESPN Star Sport, Eurosport, Fox Sport International, Zee Sports, Ten Sports, MBC Korea, Sports Russia, Sport+, TRT, RAI, CCTV, etc.). More than 100 countries can watch archery images and 250 millions TV viewers are expected for the coverage of the World Cup Final in Dubai!
