FITA President appointed as Rector

The President of the Republic of Turkey has appointed Dr Ugur Erdener as the Rector of the Hacettepe University. Dr Erdener is the President of the International Archery Federation (FITA).
The Hacettepe University in Ankara is the largest and most prestigious university in Turkey. Dr Erdener was until this appointment, General Director of the Hacettepe University Hospitals. After the election in the university, he won the first position among nine candidates and then he was selected by the President of the Republic of Turkey among the first three candidates.
FITA Council sends him their sincere congratulations and the best of luck in this new and exciting challenge. FITA is honoured to have as President the Rector of such a prestigious University.
