Official Ceremony for the new Rector of the Hacettepe University

The FITA President, Dr Ugur Erdener, has officially become the new Rector of the Hacettepe University during a ceremony held on 3 January 2008 in Ankara, Turkey.

The Hacettepe University in Ankara is the largest and most prestigious university in Turkey. Dr Erdener was until this appointment, General Director of the Hacettepe University Hospitals. After the election in the university, he won the first position among nine candidates and then he was selected by the President of the Republic of Turkey among the first three candidates.
