4 April 2008 - Spain assists Paraguay

Spain assists Paraguay Lausanne – 4 April 2008   Early March 2008, an interdepartmental agreement has been signed between the “Secretaría Nacional de Deportes” from Paraguay and the “Consejo Superior de Deportes” from Spain committing to send a Spanish Judge in 2008 to Paraguay during seven days, to train:   Ø      National / Paraguayan Judges with the objective to get them trained to become in future Continental level Judges. Ø      Tournament organizers, allowing hosting well conducted archery competitions in Paraguay. The course should end with an open archery championship, to which would attend the various domestic archery schools. These archery schools are one year old only.   If possible this course will be open to some nearby nations. The final dates are still to be finalized, but this cooperation project is to be held in 2008.   FITA is pleased of such mutual assistance and encourages similar projects to be held in the future.   FITA Development Department
