The Olympic Canadian Men’s Team announced
Lausanne - 9 June 2008
The Federation of Canadian Archers (FCA) has announced the men’s team for the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. Four women will travel to Boé, France, in two weeks to take part in the World Cup Stage 4 and attempt to earn one Olympic spot. The FCA has also selected the athletes who will compete in the Paralympic Games in September.
These male archers will be nominated to the Canadian Olympic Committee for final approval:
Ø Jay Lyon
Ø Crispin Duenas
Ø John-David Burnes
Ø Hugh MacDonald (alternate)
The following women will travel to Boé, France, to attempt to earn one spot for Canada at the Olympic Games:
Ø Kateri Vrakking
Ø Marie-Pier Beaudet
Ø Rachael Savage
Ø Alana MacDougall
The Federation of Canadian Archers is pleased to announce the following archers will be competing at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing. These archers will be nominated to the Canadian Paralympic Committee for final approval:
