Olympic Games Beijing 2008 - Venue

Olympic Games Beijing (CHN) - 9-15 August 2008   Venue The Olympic Green Archery Field has been completed and delivered to the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad. As a venue for archery competitions during the 2008 Olympic Games, it will see both men and women for Olympic gold.   One of the eight temporary venues of the Beijing Olympics, ground breaking of this new facility started on 28 December 2005. Located on the Olympic Green, the field adjoins the Olympic Tennis Centre in the north and buttresses the Olympic Hockey Field in the south.   With a total area of 9.22 hectares, it covers a floor space of 8,609 square metres. The venue has three archery fields, including one for ranking games and two for medal rounds.
