World Champions meet again in Llwynypia

Except for the World Cup Winner 2007 Petra ERICSSON (SWE) who has not come back to competition since giving birth, all the 2006 elite Field World Champions are coming back to defend their titles. This means team Sweden and USA as well as
  Individual Recurve Women: CEKADA Dolores (SLO) Individual Recurve Men: FRANGILLI Michele (ITA) Individual Compound Women: HOETTECKE Silke (GER) Individual Compound Men: LUNDIN Morgan (SWE) (photo) Individual Barebow Women: PENNACCHI Luciana (ITA) Individual Barebow Men: SEIMANDI Giuseppe (ITA)   They will have some tough opponents: 2006 medallist Gladys WILLEMS (BEL) and Sebastian ROHRBERG , Ivana BUDEN (CRO) and Jamie VAN NATTA (USA) who will take part in the World Cup Final later this month, as well as Niels BALDUR (DEN), Anne LAURILLA (FIN), Thomas AUBERT, Aurore TRAYAN, Stephane DARDENNE and former World Champion Carole FERRIOU (FRA), Olympian Naomi FOLKARD, Liam GRIMWOOD and Chris WHITE (GBR), Franck KARSENTY (ISR), Ruben OCHOA (MEX), Morten BOE (NOR), Dejan SITAR and Maja MARCEN (SLO), last but not least Mark APPLEGATE, Victor WUNDERLE, Dave COUSINS and the famous Dee WILDE (USA).   The qualifications and eliminations will take place from 2-4 September at the Glyncornel Archery Centre, while the teams’ competition and finals will be shot at the beautiful St Fagans National History Museum of Wales.   We are looking forward for some actions on the field!   FITA Communication
