Use of FITA/IDTM Application Forms Mandatory
On several occasions we have reminded all our Member Associations that since January 2006 FITA has outsourced the administration of its TUE applications to the anti-doping services provider IDTM.
Therefore, all applications should be sent to the IDTM FITA TUE service, AND NOT TO THE FITA OFFICE.
IDTM TUE contacts:
Phone: + 46 8 555 109 00
Fax: + 46 8 555 109 27
Email: tuefita@idtm.se
The application forms for Abbreviated and Standard TUEs can be downloaded in the FITA section of www.idtm.se/IDTM_drug_information.htm.
In order to facilitate and harmonise the administrative and medical management of the TUEs, the use of these forms will be made mandatory as of 15 September 2008. As of this date, any other application form received at IDTM will not be considered, and will be sent back to the submitter. Of course this is only for applications forms. It is not applicable to the National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs) Certificates of Approval acknowledged by FITA/IDTM as per the mutual recognition policy.
For more information on FITA TUEs, see the section Clean Sport/Therapeutic Use Exemptions of the FITA website.
